The Largest Fresh Water Fishing Derby in North America!

The Great Ontario Salmon Derby is a not for profit event that has been running on Lake Ontario in it current format since 1996. Over the last 25 years the legendary Great Ontario Salmon Derby continues to generate revenue for all communities across the North Shore of Lake Ontario.

The GOSD has contributed over $315, 000 in funding to the raising of Chinook Salmon , Chinook Salmon pen projects , and helping the fishery on Lake Ontario.

Profits generated from the Great Ontario Salmon Derby are used to support the Lake Ontario Salmon fishery.
