Yes, it’s hard to believe that we’ve just completed day 48 of the 50 day GOSD.
To make things worse ENE winds chased most anglers off the big lake early today including Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Zack Godley who was out with Captain Greg Amiel on Fishing 4Tails. Our weekly leader Glen Harnum didn’t seem to be very upset about the windy conditions but he’ll have to wait an extra day until Saturday night at 8pm to see if his 32.48 lb. Chinook wins the final week of the Derby.
If you’re one of the lucky anglers that will be fishing in the ISLANDER Championship Shootout and you’re planning on leaving your vessel overnight at Port Credit Village Marina on the Friday it is strongly suggested that you reserve a slip with them as early as possible. If you’re launching Saturday morning the day of the event, Lakefront Promenade west of Dixie Road off Lakeshore has multiple ramps and lots of parking.
Best Lure: reading the TORONTO SUN NEWSPAPER
Best Location: lunch at PIZZA PIZZA
